Freelander 2 indicators

    My 2007 Freelander 2 has recently started to have a problem with the indicators . Sometimes when trying to signal left and pushing down the stalk , nothing happens . Push the stalk back up and then down again and the indicator works . No idea where to start trying to sort this . Any ideas please?
